A grower bunch of Dutch iris helps spring to arrive sooner! Iris are classified as a distinctive form flower as are Cattleya orchids and Birds of Paradise. Although they can be massed together in a design, by arranging them with open spaces around the blooms, we can see the beautiful patterns the petals create that define this elegant bloom. Note the use of a wooden flower stand underneath the cachepot. It helps to protect surfaces from water and scratches, plus it elevates the design onto its own stage, making it more visible and important. You can keep iris lasting longer by keeping them in cool rooms rather than warm. At night, place the design in a covered porch or garage where temperatures do not fall below freezing to extend their display.
