Large boxes and crates make versatile floral containers for collections of interesting materials. This design relies upon several sprays of permanent berries and foliage for most of the design. One small tray hidden within the box holds fresh floral foam into which carnations, mums and Leucadendron have been arranged. Another variation is to use vases or Mason jars with fresh flower food solutions in the box.
Designs such as these hold the potential for long lasting displays; important when homes and businesses are decorated four to six weeks ahead of Christmas. The arrangement is easily serviced when the fresh flowers fade and new materials give the design a different look. Merry Christmas!
